Residential Home Inspections
Is an objective visual examination of the physical condition: the structure, construction and mechanical systems. The home inspector’s report will cover the condition of the home’s heating system; central air conditioning system (temperature permitting); interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; the foundation, basement and structural components. The inspection report will notate and depict areas to identify items that should be repaired or replaced.
Radon Test
Unlike many tests that can be performed and sent to a lab for analysis, we use accurate, EPA approved digital radon machines that measure the levels of radon in the home over a minimum of 48 hours, and we obtain readouts immediately. Our machines are calibrated yearly and are designed to alert us if they have been moved or tampered with to provide you the most precise snapshot possible.
Septic Inspection
Thorough visual inspection to examine the inside of your septic tank to check initial water level of the tank and check water flow and then recheck water level of tank. Asbestos Inspection This type of inspection is also an intrusive inspection. This means the surface might have to be scratched or even removed to verify. Most of the time, this is done in a closet or at a corner of an exterior siding. The sample will be given to a scientist at a lab for further examination. Results from that lab will be submitted to the client. This type of inspection confirms the safety of the occupants.

A new build/pre-drywall inspection is a crucial step in the home construction process that ensures the structural integrity and proper installation of key components before the walls are sealed. This inspection involves a thorough examination of the framing, electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC systems, and insulation. By conducting a pre-drywall inspection, potential issues can be identified and corrected early, ensuring a higher quality build and preventing costly repairs down the road. This step provides peace of mind to homeowners, knowing that their new home is built to the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
Crawl Space Inspections
The crawl space is one of the most ignored or neglected areas of a home. It is also one of the main reasons for a home buyer not purchasing a home. Problems associated with crawl spaces can include: mold, wood destroying fungus, wood destroying insects, moisture intrusion and standing water, animal feces, lack of a vapor barrier, missing/damaged or moldy insulation, leaks or damage to HVAC ductwork systems/Inadequate ventilation. A thorough inspection of your crawl space will diagnose any issues found that need attention. Dirty or wet conditions not only damage structural and system materials but can contaminate the air quality of your home as well.
